International students, workers, and activists have showed solidarity with Rawal Asad and demanded Pakistani government to release Rawal immediately without delays and to end all fake charges brought against him, particularly of sedition.

USA / Canada

A solidarity message was given at the Fightback Winter School 2019 in Montreal Canada attended by students, workers and activists from different cities across USA and Canada. Comrades showed strong support and solidarity for Pakistani comrades who are facing the worst times under the present right wing-regime through state persecution and brutalities.

United Kingdom

A resolution was passed in Marxist Student Conference in London on Saturday 16 February 2018 showing support for Pakistani comrades and also demanding release of Rawal Asad from police custody. Marxist Student Federation further announced a protest in front of Pakistani High Commission London on Wednesday 20 February 2019 at 13:00. All students and workers are invited to join this protest to demand release of Rawal Asad and stop the state on victimising and arresting activists on sedition charges.

Germany

22-24. February 2019 in Bonn. Delegates to the German Left Party DIE LINKE’s Conference support the solidarity campaign for the release of student leader and comrade Rawal Asad. Photos include top party leaders and Members of Parliament (Germany and EU) as well as a delegation from the Turkish Left Party HDP. The solidarity work will be stepped up in Germany in the coming days.
